Jones County Junior College began spring football practice this week. Due to a heavy sophomore class last football season, only 21 players are participating in the spring practice.

The Bobcats are allowed 15 practices during the spring, but have chosen only to practice on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for the next three weeks. The final practice is set for April 26.

JCJC opens the 2018 season at home vs. Coahoma on Aug. 30. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
